I am a town planner cum geographer having earned double post graduate degree in Geography from the Jawaharlal Nehru University and in Regional Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.
My research interest lies in urbanization and regional development issues, spatial planning, participatory research, and poverty related issues
Trained in ArcGIS and statistical softwares like SPSS, STATA
I am working on the NOPOOR project as a research associate and am responsible for analyzing the poverty scenario in India using the Multi-dimensional Poverty Index.
I am undertaking in-depth analysis of secondary data from NFHS, NSS and Census data sets using STATA and SPSS and also working on mapping spatial changes in multi-dimensional poverty scenario using ArcGIS
Recently we have conducted a survey in Mumbai and adjoining areas to study people's willingness to pay for public goods and now involved in writing the report
